FAQ
Got Questions? We've Got Answers
The questions Staines customers ask most about reconditioned stairlifts, prices and installation.
A reconditioned straight stairlift typically costs £1,500 to £1,800 fitted. Refurbished curved stairlifts start from around £2,500 because the rail is made to measure for your staircase. Every price includes delivery, professional installation and a 12-month warranty, usually 30 to 50% less than the equivalent new lift.
Yes. Every lift is stripped down, serviced, fitted with fresh safety components where needed and load-tested before it leaves our workshop. It is then installed by our own approved engineers and covered by a 12-month parts and labour warranty.
Straight reconditioned stairlifts are often fitted within 48 hours of the survey. Curved stairlifts take longer because the rail is made to measure for your stairs, and we will give you a firm date at the survey.
Most homes in Staines can take a slim straight rail or a made-to-measure curved rail, including narrow flights and tight landings. The free survey confirms exactly what fits before you commit.
All our reconditioned stairlifts include a 12-month parts and labour warranty as standard. You can extend that cover and add an annual service plan, which keeps the lift running reliably and protects its long-term resale value.
Yes. We remove unwanted stairlifts across London and make the staircase good afterwards. Where the unit is a recent model in working order we will offer to buy it back or offset its value against a replacement.
You may be eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant from Spelthorne Borough Council. It is means-tested and usually follows an assessment by an occupational therapist. Stairlifts for a disabled person's own use can also qualify for VAT relief, and we can provide a written quote for your application.
